How to Test Customer Billing Cycle Schedules

To test your customer billing cycle schedules, follow the steps below:
  1. Open the OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Click on Customers.
  3. Double-click on the customer with the billing cycle schedule that you wish to test.
  4. On the resulting screen, select the Billing tab.
  5. Click on the blue text that reads Adjust billing cycle schedule below the checked Use billing cycle checkbox.
  6. When the Billing Cycle Schedule window appears, press CTRL + ALT + T to open the Schedule Test window.
  7. In the Schedule Test window, set the Last run date to the date that you want your schedule to begin the test. This field will automatically be set to today’s date.
  8. Set the Iterations to the number of times that you want your schedule to be tested.
  9. Press Run Schedule to begin your test.
  10. Check the Results field to see a list of your schedule’s test results. Days should be skipped and included as you expect and desire. If not, you may need to adjust your schedule and run this test again.
  11. Repeat steps 4 to 11 for all customer billing cycle schedules that you wish to test.
