Primary views within OnTime Dispatch and OnTime Management Suite include the ability to group records by most of the available columns. For example, you may want to group the Tracking view by service level, submission date, delivery date, customer, or status.
To apply grouping a view, follow these steps:
- Open the view where you would like to use grouping.
- Right-click on the column header that you would like to group by and choose Group by this column.
Multiple levels of grouping can be applied in a view to further refine the organization of the groups. Following the steps outlined above on additional columns will create subgroups within the first group that has been assigned. For example, in the Tracking view, you may want to group orders by customer, followed by another grouping by service level.
