How to Resolve the Error: The data file was not successfully repaired and optimized. Details: There is a file sharing violation. A different process might be using the file.

This error may appear if the local cache becomes unusable. The following steps may help resolve the error:
  1. Close OnTime Management Suite and OnTime Dispatch.
  2. Restart either application, but do not log in.
  3. From the login window, click the Options… link located in the lower-left corner.
  4. Click the link labeled Rebuild data file....
  5. Once the data rebuild process is complete, log in as normal.
