A return trip simply creates a new order, reversing the collection and delivery locations of the existing order. This is useful to detail the purpose of the return trip and include special instructions.
To generate a return trip, create a New Order and complete the required fields, including the initial collection and delivery locations. Then click the button labeled Create Return Trip in the ribbon of the Order Entry screen. OnTime will automatically create a new order and reverse the collection and delivery locations. The date/time in the return trip's collection arrival window will be set to the date/time in the original order's delivery arrival window. You may manually change those dates and times as necessary.
