In this video we're going to show you how to install the OnTime desktop applications on to a PC that has never had OnTime installed before.

To do that, you'll need to start a web browser and go to the OnTime hompage. The OnTime website is at OnTime360.com. Once there, you'll notice a Download link at the top. Click that. Once on the Download page, you'll have some options as to the program to download.

The first one that you'll want to download, especially if you are the owner, administrator, or manager, is the OnTime Management Suite. If your duties at the company are strictly customer service, dispatching, or order entry, then you might choose the Dispatch program instead. The Management Suite program comes bundled with the Dispatch program. If you are a manager or administrator, you only need to download the first program, not both, to access to both of those features.

Download the OnTime Management Suite by clicking the Download button. The browser will ask to save it, so I will save it to my desktop so that I can find it easily.

It's downloaded, so I'll close my browser and on my desktop is the program that I need to run to install OnTime courier software. Double-click that and we will notice a box asking for permissions to run this program. Say Yes and then wait for it to extract and go through the installation process.

The first thing that the installer does is check the computer to see if there's any prerequisites necessary that are missing from the computer. One of the things that the program requires is Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5. On Windows XP and Vista computers, this may need to be installed and the installer will help you through that. On later computers, like Windows 8 or 8.1, 3.5 will need to be activated on that machine and the wizard will do that for you automatically. In either of those cases, it might take a little longer to install because of getting that prerequisite in order. If you're running Windows 7, this should go very smooth and quickly because Windows 7 already has this prerequisite in line.

Click Next and Accept the licensing agreement. Click Next one more time to start the installation. At this point, the program is installed to our computer. This will work on 32-bit and 64-bit machines, so you should have good compatibility. Once it's finished, click Finish to close the installer and start the program. At this moment, you'll need to enter in your Company ID, User Name, and Password.

Again, this video has shown you how to install the OnTime courier software to a Windows PC desktop. If you have anymore questions on this, please feel free to contact the OnTime Customer Support Team. Thank you for your time.
